What Is Career Suitability Score
Career Suitability Score is a number from 0 to 100 that shows how well your birth chart may align with a chosen career path. It looks at your Sun sign, Moon sign, Ascendant, 10th house, Midheaven, and career planet. Each of these astrological factors is compared to the career you picked. The score blends all these factors into one simple number. A higher score may suggest a stronger match between your chart and that career. This number is for self-reflection, not as the only guide for big life choices.
How Career Suitability Score Is Calculated
Formula
Career Suitability Score = [(Sun Weight × Sun Relevance Score) + (Moon Weight × Moon Relevance Score) + (Ascendant Weight × Ascendant Relevance Score) + (10th House Weight × 10th House Relevance Score) + (Midheaven Weight × Midheaven Relevance Score) + (Career Planet Weight × Career Planet Relevance Score)] ÷ Total Weights, scaled to 0–100
Where:
- Sun Relevance Score = compatibility of Sun sign with selected career category (0–100)
- Moon Relevance Score = compatibility of Moon sign with selected career category (0–100)
- Ascendant Relevance Score = compatibility of Ascendant sign with selected career category (0–100)
- 10th House Relevance Score = compatibility of 10th house sign with selected career category (0–100)
- Midheaven Relevance Score = compatibility of Midheaven sign with selected career category (0–100)
- Career Planet Relevance Score = compatibility of dominant career-related planet with selected career category (0–100)
- Weight = relative importance assigned to each astrological factor (Sun, Moon, Ascendant, 10th House = 20% each; Midheaven, Career Planet = 10% each)
- Total Weights = sum of all weights (always 1.0)
The calculator first finds your Sun sign, Moon sign, Ascendant, Midheaven, 10th house, and career planet from your birth details. Each factor gets a relevance score from 0 to 100 based on how well it matches your chosen career. Each score is then multiplied by its weight. The weighted scores are added up and divided by the total weight. This gives the final Career Suitability Score. The Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and 10th house each carry 20 percent weight. The Midheaven and career planet each carry 10 percent weight. The final score is rounded to the nearest whole number.
Why Career Suitability Score Matters
Knowing your Career Suitability Score may help you think about careers that align with the natural strengths shown in your birth chart. It offers a different way to reflect on career choices beyond skills and interests alone. This score is for self-reflection and entertainment, not as the only guide for major life decisions.
Why Career Suitability Score Is Important for Career Planning
Ignoring this score does not mean you will fail in a career. But relying only on astrological scores without looking at skills, education, and market demand may lead to poor career choices. The score may be used as one of several tools to think about your path. Real career success usually depends on hard work, training, and finding a job that fits your values, situation, and goals. Always blend this score with practical research before making big decisions.
For Students Choosing a Career
Students may use this score as a starting point to explore careers that match their chart. A high score in a field may suggest looking deeper into that area through internships, short courses, or talking to people in that field. Students should not pick a career based only on this score. Real interests, skills, and chances to study and work in that field also matter a lot.
For Professionals Considering a Career Change
Working professionals who think about changing careers may use this score to reflect on new paths. A high score in a different field may suggest looking into that area while keeping their current job. Career changes take planning, savings, and time to learn new skills. This score may offer a fresh view but should not replace careful thought about money, family, and job market realities.
Career Suitability Score vs Aptitude Test Scores
An aptitude test measures your skills, memory, logic, and learning speed. A Career Suitability Score looks at your astrological birth chart instead. Aptitude tests are based on real testing and may predict how well you can do certain tasks. Astrology scores are based on traditional beliefs and do not have the same scientific backing. Aptitude tests may be used for serious planning. Astrology scores may be used as a fun way to reflect on choices and explore new ideas.
